I am a Freelance Motion Designer
I am one of those all-in-one freelancers that can produce illustration and animation from start to finish.
Although most of my career has been devoted to creating illustration and animation for marketing purposes, I have recently started to shift my focus in order to serve human-centered design teams within the innovation industry as well as educational and
e-learning videos.
I am passionate about using illustration, animation and video to break down complex ideas into easy to digest narratives and compelling stories. What really excites me is the power that visual content brings to the storytelling process and its potential to help move new ideas into the future.
My name is Michael Zarifes and I live in the Los Angeles area. Each new day I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to serve clients by pursuing my passions: design, illustration and animation.
As a lifelong learner, I have an endless curiosity and I take great delight in learning about new things!
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, taking a relaxing walk on the beach, working out, or pursuing my hobbies of photography, reading books about psychology, self-development, and neuroscience.
